Lanthan Safe Sky's technology is best in class – but it needs explaining. Its control system lets the warning lights on wind turbines flash only when an aircraft approaches. At a trade fair, that has to land in seconds. Plus one wish: portable by a single person, in a rolling suitcase, as checked baggage.
What emerged is an animated light table that shows the principle without a single word.
Plexiglass pins on an ultra-bright display and a beautifully animated map. That's all it takes.
The result: a lightweight exhibit, carried in a rolling suitcase, set up and ready in 15 minutes. So it sparks the right conversation from the first moment.
What the exhibit shows

A landscape at night, seen from above. One onshore and one offshore wind farm. Rotor shadows turn, waves and clouds drift past, small vehicles move. Everything is dark.
Until the shadow of an aircraft moves into a farm's radius. Red dots on the tips of the plexiglass rods light up – exactly where the warning light sits on a real turbine.
The object works through its pared-back aesthetic and the animation alone. What you'd otherwise have to explain in conversation, you now grasp at a glance.

The exhibit travels from fair to fair, all across Europe. Its simple engineering with few components makes it robust and low-maintenance. No one has to stand beside it and explain the technology – the Lanthan team can focus fully on their customers.
Anyone walking past the booth has understood the principle before a single line is read or a word is spoken. The technology behind it is complex. The exhibit is not. That reduction is the real achievement.
